Cracks me up that a lot of retailers prmote fantastic "Buy one get one free" offers yet you know full well that last week that item was half the value.

The problem is when you know the value of an item and someone sstill tries to pull it off.

Cracking example here. Saw promo for BOGOF Spurs shirt. Then I saw the price

Its never the majority of the time buy one get one free.

They sucker you in with the word "free" but the price of the product is always expensive so you are basically just spending more money than you think.

And to be perfectly honest, the idea that anyone is stupid enough to spend 60 quid on a shirt that they're only going to be able to wear for a year and that will make them look like someone from the benefit office queue just underlines the fact that we desperately need to have a cull of the feeble minded.

True for the most part but if I were a season ticket holder I would want a shirt to wear every week to show my support.
Agreed though £60 is silly money.
