Low Image Quality Issue

Randomly this issues started happening where all my images in Chrome appear in low quality. I've tried a ton of different stuff like clearing cache, flushing DNS, but can't seem to find a fix for it.

This only happens in Chrome and not in Firefox, and on no other computers in my network. Example Below.

Any suggestions?

Re: Low Image Quality Issue

Nothing under the hood. Latest(?) version of Chrome.

Images are different sizes as one is a download from Facebook (options > download) and the other is a screenshot. If I copy & paste, it is low quality as well.

Re: Low Image Quality Issue

you tend not to get dual gfx in PC's (they have the tendancy disable on chip gfx in favour for the external, in laptops its a power saving thing so they leave it on)

but to check, off top of my head, for Nvidia Cards Right click desktop, Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3d Settings, Program Settings.

Now if you DO NOT see "Preferred graphics processor" your'e golden.
if you do make sure chrome is set to use your decent gpu.

Just a suggestion.

Re: Low Image Quality Issue

I'm guessing you mean Nvidia Control Panel won't open - and not your standard control panel. In which case, try killing all of the Nvidia processes and reloading it.
