Re: FAO Si and other BMW drivers

This also happens on all Audi's VW's and other cars that use the keyless entries for that. am surprised that this is happening when you can buy blank keys of ebay for sod all and with a little knowledge reprogram by command.

Hopefully they will sort this out by stopping people buying blank keys so freely on the internet

Re: FAO Si and other BMW drivers

Apparently in an article I read on the BBC the other day, the problem doesn't effect the newer BMW models

Oi! I was present on the Saturday for the previous one.

The biggest problem is that on the RHD models the area around the OBD port is an alarm deadspot!

BMW are still sticking their heads in the sand, but I'd still prefer my car to go this way instead of being woken up at knifepoint with someone demanding the keys.

Re: FAO Si and other BMW drivers

tbh, any decent car thief can take most cars within a few minutes if he really wants to, and you wouldn't know a thing, so its not like this makes much difference...
