Headset Help

My boyfriend is a serious gamer and the noise is driving me insane. Can anyone please recommend a good, comfortable headset that is inexpensive. I don't want to buy any old pair as he'll just tell me I've wasted my money.

Please help?????

What do you call inexpensive? Gaming headsets can be found for as little as a fiver up to several hundred pounds.
If your budget will stretch as far as 30-40 the Medusa 5.1 or the Zalman Theatre 5.1 headsets are both very good. The Medusa has a boom microphone while the zalmans come with a seperate mic which clips onto the cable.

Sorry should have said. I was hoping to spend between 10 to 15 for a pair of overhead ones.

At that sort of price they're all pretty much the same. i.e. not very good sound quality, not very comfortable, flimsy etc.

I found a set on Ebay for 25 2nd hand boxed. My only concern is that my boyfriend has a creative speaker system set up with a volume control that a headset plugs directly into. Similar to a personal stereo conection but a little bigger. Do I need some kind of adapter or will it come with the right cable?

Cheers

I have those ^^

I used to go through headsets more than knickers.
But they sound amazing, feel comfortable and have a bass impact that will
give you goose pimples :x

And they are damn cheap?!
I paid 45 for them a few years back
