The recent hacking spree which has now affected several companies in the gaming industry has claimed its newest victim, Bioware.
Written on their community forums, Bioware confirmed that they had been targetted and approximately 18,000 accounts were under threat. They have been quick to confirm that no credit card details are at risk from this attack.

Its getting really silly now, what do these people hope to achieve from doing this?

Assuming it's Lulzsec, which I believe considering how much they've done recently, it's got nothing to do with site security, they're just *******s. I'm following them on Twitter, and their uploading thousands of peoples email addresses and passwords in text files to TPB. They're not like Anonymous who seem to just like being muppets, they're being actual *******s and releasing peoples details.

These pathetic individuals need to be sorted out. I'm no fanboi for the authorities but if I knew anything about this group I'd stitch them up in a heatbeat. I was reading a transcript of one of their IRC sessions and they came across as a bunch of self obsessed, socially inept retards.
