At the moment I am learning the ropes of DotA2 and I'm playing through Thief on my PS4. Anyone else made it through Chapter 5? I don't think I'm ready to sleep with the light off yet.....

Welcome to the Team Been playing through Thief slowly. It's not grabbing me too much unfortunately but it only cost me £15 so not too much of a loss (yay, PC gaming).

How's the PS4 been for you? I've heard a lot of marmite comments. Or is veggiemite a more appropriate reference?

It does a bit. I won't give it away just yet, I want to see if any 80s kids recognise it.

Thief is a bit like that, I'm enjoying it a lot but I can also understand why others may not. It can get a bit monotonous.

I honestly love the PS4. I also happen to love vegemite too though. Battlefield 4 crashes way too often for my liking but other than that, no complaints.

Yeah, Furl said in his review pretty much the same thing. He found the most fun in just running around and being a thief, rather than the actual story.

I agree with the vast majority of that review except I quite like Garrett as a character - that mysterious, dark, brooding type. And that's why letting girls talk about games with male lead characters is a bad idea. His awkward narrative was just that though, awkward. But he's a cool dude nonetheless.

Hooray, Emsey is the winner! I knew someone would get it sooner or later. I was a total TF nut as a kid.

It makes his nose look all sorts of weird in some of the other promotional shots and artwork. I get that it has a purpose, it just doesn't look good. Garrett is fully covered up meanwhile Erin is all about showing off her shoulders. Silly little thief girl.

I agree with your analysis of Thief chapter 5. I had a room with 2 other people watching me play and we were all jumping. Pretty good stuff! haha
