Nvidia Stereoscopic Drivers

Anyone from LAN 77 will remember me sitting with a pair of 3D glasses on for the most part (cheers Olly ) and at the time, the drivers from Nvidia were still under beta release.

Anyhow, fast forward to today, as I'm going through "Programs & Features" to uninstall some software - I noticed that there was an entry for "Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Driver", and knowing that I hadn't installed them on this build of Win7, I checked the Nvidia Control Panel, and it seems like the drivers have left beta and are now part of the final build. Don't know when they were added, but I installed a new set not long ago

So take a look in your Nvidia CP for Stereoscopic settings.

Re: Nvidia Stereoscopic Drivers

So our stuff finally turned up yesterday & I set up my main rig & 'discovered' a pair of the 3d glasses.
Saw this post, and noted that indeed the stereoscopic 3D option is present in the 186 Vista drivers.
Ran the quick setup wizard and ran the test applet....
haven't tried the 3d filth (yet), but looks promising.
Will test it on a game tomorrow

Re: Nvidia Stereoscopic Drivers

And I've also noticed in the Control Panel, the options for "Flat Panel Scaling" which used to be a luxury of laptops mainly.

It's great for older games that don't support the higher resolutions, yet you still want to be able to look at them in their original resolutions, rather than stretched out to the excess of your screen
