ATI Catalyst 5.13 beta

http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1280

Quote:
Windows 2000/XP - Beta

This is the latest beta of ATI's Catalyst Drivers which supports the new AVIVO functionality of the Radeon X1000 Series. The German site chip.de apparently got permission to redistribute a beta of the upcoming ATI Catalyst 5.13. We therefore mirrored it onto our file-servers. The 5.13 drivers are optimized for quality video playback, AVIVO, in other words HDTV lovin

With this new version, ATI claims that they've raised the bar in video performance and set the stage for worldwide "video dominATIon."

ATI considers Catalyst 5.13 as the first driver that unlocks the AVIVO technology present in the Radeon X1800, but it's more than that. Catalyst 5.13 represents the countless hours needed to understand the problems associated with deinterlacing and image enhancement as well as the time spent generating novel solutions.

If you download these drivers then be sure to pick up this handy Avivo Video Encoder utiltity. This tool allows to encode media files at GPU level.
Well Iv not tried these myself, I assume these will be the beta for the 6.1 Catalyst driver (assuming ATI stick to their current nomenclature). Currently loving the Omega 5.12's so if anyone else fancies giving these a whirl please post feedback.

ATI CrossFire™ allows for multiple Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) to be placed within a single PC, to provide superior gaming performance. The Catalyst® 5.13 software suite is the first Catalyst® to provide ATI CrossFire™ support. CrossFire™ support is available when an ATI Radeon® X1800 CrossFire™ Edition product is installed with another Radeon® X1800 product. Further information on ATI CrossFire™ can be found at: http://www.ati.com/technology/crossfire/faq.html

Omega Catalyst 3.8.231

Windows 2000/XP - Catalyst modified driver

Omegadrive has released a new version of his popular modified driver. These drivers are based on ATI's latest catalyst drivers and they include a customized version of ATI Tray Tools instead of Radlinker. These drivers offer excellent performance versus great image quality and are known by their great reputation. These are "optimized" drivers for the ATI Radeon family.

What's New in Omega Drivers version 3.8.231

* Based on the Catalyst 6.3 Official drivers.
* Added a new wide-screen resolution, 1024x640.

Known Issues:

* Some of the settings for both D3D & OGL will not be synchronized between ATT and the normal ATI CP, you must only use one of them to make changes, the best option is to use ATT since the ATI CP does not support changes to AI and in order to use the advanced D3D/OGL features. Changes made in ATT will work on games and such but the changes will not be reflected in the normal ATI CP since ATI stores the registry values that the CP reads separate from the actual values in the registry.

Important Info:

* Since these drivers include a non-standard version of ATT, I would recommend that if you have any previous version of ATT installed, please uninstall it before installing these drivers, not doing so may cause unknown problems.

What's new for ATI Tray Tools version 1.0.5.824

* Updated core names database. Added information about R505 chips.
* Improved "High precision" overclocking mode for X8xx boards. Now ATT can set more accurate values for requested GPU and Memory clocks.
* Resrticted I2C scan procedure up to 0x4F address.
* Added new configuration option (in atitray.ini) to exchange GPU and Environment temperatures
* Fixed wrong temperature display in Overclocking window if SharedMemory was disabled
* Fixed issue when ATT unable to restore current colors after game end
* Fixed isuue when ATT shows incorrect values for free Video and Texture memory in FlashOSD module
