Looks like it might be time to replace my 8800 GT

Re: Nvidia GTX 460

152 from Scan, that is a good price, I would hold off to see if ATI drop there prices though.

Most places I've seen are saying it trumps the 5830 more often than not.

Re: Nvidia GTX 460

The Nvidia GTX 460 is by far and without a shadow of a doubt, the best performance per pound card there is on the market. It consistently trumps all 58 series ATIs just at stock and is known to be one of the (if not THE) most overclockable card there is. The MSI hawk edition has been recorded getting over 1Gh core clock on air cooling! For those who don't know overclocking, that takes its performance up on par with most 350 cards.

Here's a readout of GPU benchmarks on Unigine heaven, one of the more stressful benchmarks;
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/charts...amer,2661.html

Note the GTX 460 hawk being ranked #13 (OF ALL CURRENT CARDS!), then the nearest ATI card of comparable price is nearly 10 places lower!

You will find the 150 GTX 460 hawk edition sitting comfortably among 200-300 cards! Absolutely obliterating all ATI cards except the 400 6950s.

You'd be a fool not to bag one (or two) of these babies right now!
