Re: Milan recommendations?

Dunno if you can, but I usually try to fly around a weekend, as midweek flights are generally cheaper by enough that it covers the cost of the hotel rooms, and then it gives you a couple of days to have a nose about.
Also, if my experience with the Italians in general is anything to go by, if you get up early, you should be able to get a couple of hours sightseeing in each day, as our office never really got going until about 10am
