Nah it's Leiston Abbey, though I'm sure they all look fairly similar :)

Apologies. I am sure on reflection that they do look similar! Nice photo all the same.

No need to apologise :)

I posted a load of these sunrise photo's last week but got no feedback so I'll try posting some here instead! Each photo of the sunrise told a different story so I'll start with this one: called “Beginning of the End” or “Apocalypse in the Morning” or something :D

The photo is breathtaking. Where did you take it? I like the way the clouds merge into the sun. I cant compete with your photos! I just tend to click away hoping to get something good and take home a memory! Haha!

Spend ages last night trying to get a good photo of a thunderstorm. Where my dad lives in Thai the whole sky lights up purple and it looks beautiful. I didn't manage to get the shot!

Anyway this is from Phi Phi island. One of the few photos I was able to take without tourists wrecking it! This island was completley ruined and wiped away by the tsunami back in 2004. Everyone died. Very sad.

First of all that is a lovely photo you’ve posted there. A very beautiful setting with a heartbreaking story attached to it. I also really like the content of the photo – nice blue sky, fluffy sand, calm sea and a combination of traditional and modern boats. You should be very pleased with it, shows you ‘got a good eye for it’ as they say!

Shame about the thunderstorm hehe. I’ve only ever tried to photograph a thunderstorm once before: at GC in Germany last year we witnessed a lightning storm without rain but despite dozens of attempts I didn’t get any good snaps either. Took a good movie of it, but that’s not quite the same!

The sunrise photo is of the river Alde in Suffolk near where I live. I’ve passed that spot a couple of times before and thought it would look nice during a sunrise so I thought what the heck and got up at 5am to capture it. Was a cracking experience that'd recommend to anyone. Below is another photo of it from a different angle. Slightly annoyed by the clouds but well I can’t have it all!

Haha spot-on there Wedgeh :D

Something quite different for a change: I found this bird nest outside my front door on the grass the other week:

Amazing that the little critters can make such a thing tbh.

Check out the epic mountains (and horsies) we have in Suffolk! Somehow reminds me of 28 Days Later...

Keeping with the animal theme, here is my attempt at shooting a bird (with a camera for a change :)):

edit: oh and for the record I saw a number plate that ended in "PWN" the other day but didn't get a chance to snap it (the people I was travelling with didn't understand the significance of it). I want a PWN car :(

Thanks Rash. Looks yum Beanz, dash of chocolate sauce/custard and that would go down a treat. How did it taste btw? If you can remember back to Jan that is ;)

Not long till Spring now, which means the exciting start of my cycling photography season. For now I have this disappointing sunset which I missed largely because of the trees and a damn Land Rover sticking to the speed limit. Still I like this shot as it kinda looks quite dramatic.

Sod custard; Cornish clotted cream ice-cream FTW ;)
