EA Announces Upcoming Black Panther Title with All-Star Development Team

Whether you are the sort that believes that Marvel's era of films and shows has ended or are just as happy with the latest release of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, there is one thing you can't deny: Marvel is here to stay, and Marvel intends to grow in the videogaming industry.

After the resounding success of Marvel's Spider-Man (and its PC release, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered) alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it's no doubt that the popular comics will be growing, as it already has with the release of Marvel's Midnight Suns, the announcement for a Wolverine-focused game, and even the highly anticipated Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Well, EA is partaking in the hype with their own stab at a Marvel IP with Black Panther! Led by Kevin Stephens, who was the studio head over at Monolith Productions during the time of the Shadows of Mordor franchise, and an all-star team that composes Cliffhanger Games. With development veterans from Halo Infinite, God of War, and even Call of Duty, you know you're getting some of the best of the best. In the game, players will be able to explore Wakanda and experience a narrative-driven title where they'll have a lot of agency.

That said, however, we know that this untitled Black Panther game is still in early development stages and has "a long road ahead". Let the waiting game begin!
