......Read More ]]> Misc Games Chat Kaostic http://forums.gamegrin.com/showthread.php?t=54927 I can has job? http://forums.gamegrin.com/showthread.php?t=54926&goto=newpost Fri, 18 May 2012 10:26:24 GMT As some of you may of known, I lost my job towards the end of march this year, it's been pretty tough, what with mortgage and battling my incessant laziness, however at the start of this week I decided to reinvigorate myself, down my ps3 pad and get back in the real game.

My phone had been relentlessly ringing off the hook minutes after I'd put my CV on totaljobs.com, it actually got to a point where it was ridiculous, a Rec to Rec agent arranged two interviews a day since Monday, one of which, yesterday, involved a 20 minute presentation on the company, HTML5 and JavaScript, followed by a 2 hour interview. The company, Hanover IT recruitment deal directly in digital media recruitment and it's not only an area which is very buoyant at the moment but also a massive interest to myself outside of the workplace, and an area I've wanted to work in since I started Recruitment.

I'm pleased to announce that the presentation went extremely well, and the interview too went swimmingly.

The directors offered me the job on the spot, which I of course accepted, I start on the 28th of May, so expect James' Job Jamboree to be back in full swing with very interesting digital media roles in the very near future.
